String Equinox

Works by the masters of the High Baroque, performed by Bella Voce’s own period-instrument orchestra, the Sinfonia.

STRING EQUINOX

Bella Voce Sinfonia, conducted by Andrew Lewis

For the first time, experience the Bella Voce Sinfonia in an entirely instrumental program in String Equinox — the first-ever performance of the Bella Voce Sinfonia unaccompanied by the Chorus. Welcome spring with mainstays of the High Baroque, including J.S. Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins and concerti grossi by Corelli and Handel, over the weekend following the spring equinox.

Join us for a pre-concert discussion with members of the Bella Voce Sinfonia, led by WFMT Music Director Oliver Camacho!

String Equinox features the exceptional musicians of the Bella Voce Sinfonia. Check out our featured performers page to learn about some of the musicians on the program.
