Our 41st season: 2023–2024
Welcome to our 41st season!
The season begins in October with Byrd is the Wyrd, featuring the Bella Voce Camerata and viol consort in a concert dedicated to one of the greatest forces behind the English choral tradition, William Byrd, and his impactful legacy. November brings the return of our popular presentation of the much-beloved masterpiece, Handel’s Messiah, for just one special performance. In December, embrace the warmth of the holiday season with Ceremony of Carols, featuring Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols for treble voices and harp, paired with a cappella works for treble choir. Ring in the springtime in March with our period-instrument Sinfonia in String Equinox, a concert of baroque instrumental works by J.S. Bach, Corelli, and G.F. Handel. And in April, the season concludes with Expanding the Canon, an inspiring program of compelling works by little-known composers of the Renaissance and Baroque.
